The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) is a very essential aspect of hygiene for women as well as adolescent girls between menarche and menopause. Adolescence is a critical period in which physical, emotional, cognitive and social changes occur, including the monthly occurrence of menstruation of adolescent girls. Most of the society people consider menstruation and menstrual blood as taboos and impure. Such consideration prevents/stops many women and adolescent girls from proper health education, knowledge and information’s related to menstrual health and hygiene, which forces them to develop their ways of managing the event. The goal/objective of the study is to describe the experiences and perceptions of women and adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene management.
