Seismology: Understanding the Science Behind Earthquakes

Seismology is the scientific study of earthquakes and the propagation of elastic waves through the Earth. As a branch of geophysics, it plays a crucial role in understanding not only how earthquakes occur but also the internal structure of our planet.
